Nevertheless, agricultural machinery manufacturers are not too pessimistic and presented innovative technology in the field of mowers, tedders and swathers at Agritechnica 2023. All manufacturers are continuing to see a trend towards systems with higher area output for mowers and rotary tedders. In addition, a front mower is presented that is automatically adjusted hydraulically depending on the steering angle and tilt sensors. In the field of rotary swathers, alternative approaches such as basket rake, belt rakes and a rotary swather without cam gears are presented alongside the further development of conventional systems.
