Abstract:

Different types of tyres have been compared in several tests. The use of crawler tracks continues to be strongly discussed. The importance of tyre pressure control systems is often emphasised. Ground pressure and trafficability are increasingly dealt with in research with the help of simulation models. Several practical solutions for predicting trafficability were presented.
