Tractors Ride Dynamics – Ride Safety – Driver's Place

Abstract:

Optimizing the driving dynamics and driving safety of tractors continues to be a high priority in agricultural research. Investigations in the field of driving dynamics are primarily aimed at increasing energy efficiency. Predicting traction values for autonomous vehicles is also an up-and-coming area of research. Autonomous driving also plays a role in research into driving safety. Investigations are being carried out into the avoidance of road accidents, as well as possibilities for lane detection. Classic approaches such as rollover detection and prevention also remain a subject of research. The detection and reduction of vibration is also the subject of research in order to increase driving comfort. As is the optimization of the vehicle cabin through a new design or the integration of new technology.
